1 | INDEPENDENCE MONTH CELEBRATION | Taking part in the Azadika Amrit Mahotsav, ... our school students left no stone unturned in celebrating the Independence month. The school ambience was filled with patriotic slogans and each mind was painted with tricolour. The celebration started with the proud hoisting of our national flag followed by informative sessions in classrooms on the various rules and regulations regarding our country’s flag. Students engaged in various activities like Flag Making, Slogan writing, Group singing, Tri colour food art and various crafts. Inter class competitions like poster making, drawing competition were also organized and students were rewarded with certificates. A rally was also organized to spread the joy of freedom in the city. Students dressed in white made vibrant posters with catchy slogans. On 15th August, a cultural program was held where students presented patriotic themed dances, songs andmusical skit on the theme of unity and secularism. Our tiny tots dressed as our national superheroes and learnt about their stories. Sweets were distributed too to celebrate this joyous day. |
2 | THE YELLOW DAY | “Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism..! ... It was all bright and sunny when children came together to celebrate the colour of light i.e. yellow! A day dedicated to this colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! See and identify activity was held to knowof various yellow colour objects present in nature. Tiffins were filled with yellow colour fruits like bananas,lemons, mangoes, pineapples etc. Attractive yellow coloured objects like racing cars, shape cutouts, balls, balloons, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty! |
3 | THE RED DAY | “This colour of love and smile illuminates the air with enthusiasm, life and vitality..! ... In continuation of the colour series, The ‘Red Day’ activity was conducted to introduce children into the mesmerizing realm of red colour. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. Special assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of red colour. Students learnt about various red colour objects like red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, strawberries, etc. Bulletin board displayed red craft work made by the children.The young ones also sang the Red Day song ‘Apples are red… Roses are red…. I love red…red, red, red ! |
4 | THE RAKSHA BANDHAN | The celebration of Raksha Bandhan is a ... delightful ceremony of brothers and sisters popularly celebrated in India. Our school students also celebrated this joyous day with their families. One day prior to the festival, children made eco-friendly rakhis using the skill of cutting, pasting, etcand some of them tied them on each other’s wrists too. Senior grades also had rakhi making competition. Students learnt about various stories related to the festival and it’s significance. |
5 | JANMASHTAMI | The Loyal family celebrated Lord Krishna’s ... birth with full fervor and enthusiasm. Our tiny tots came dressed as Radha and Krisna and did Raasleela. Beautiful rangolis made by artistic hands of our dear students adorned the floors in all classes and beautiful drawings adorned the boards. A special assembly was conducted to share Krishna’s teachings with all the students. |
6 | TEACHER'S DAY | “Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.” ... To honour our school’s pillars of strength, the Loyal family celebrated Teachers’ day with great pomp and show. A gratitude themed cultural program was organized wherein students presented happy dances and gave respectful titles to their teachers. Students also made greeting cards and sang songs. The school management felicitated three of our dear teachers- Mrs. Renuka(Co-rdinator of Pre-Primary wing), MrsRekha (Co-ordinator Primary wing) and Mrs. Mamta(Co-ordinator senior wing) for their selfless service. |
7 | THE DUSSEHRA | The Dussehra festival teaches children that ... good can always triumph over evil. To teach this life lesson, our primary wing teachers organized a Ramayana story telling session for our children. Children learnt about Lord Rama’s journey and how he defeated Ravana. Students also made Ravana puppets and did a paragraph writing on the festival. |
8 | THE EARTH DAY | “Earth has always been a generous mother. She has always provided us with food, ... shelter and happiness. Let us return her favor by preserving and protecting her.” To inculcate this thought in the minds of the children, a special assembly was conducted. Students learnt the importance of trees, plastic free environment and harmful effects of degrading human activities. Students planted saplings of various fruit bearing and medicinal plants and took the oath to save our environment. A rally was also organized to spread the message of saving environment. Few competitions were conducted like poster making, drawing competition, etc. |
9 | GANESH CHAURTHI | Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day festival ... that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of wisdom and prosperity. Our students paid homage to Lord Ganesha by making beautiful idols on paper and using the skill of paper folding. Students also learnt a shloka and remembered the lord in their thoughts throughtout the day. |
10 | WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY | This day is observed ... on 31st May of each year. A talk session was organized by our faculty ,Mr. Devender Sharma, wherein students learnt the harmful effects of tobacco. Students also took the pledge of ‘Say No to Tobacco’ and made informative posters on the same. |
11 | WORKER'S DAY | Like every year, ... our school celebrated Worker’s Day on 1st May to express gratitude to the team of workers who work tirelessly to make sure that students stay in a clean and hygienic environment and also stay safe in school campus and bus. Children gifted them handmade greeting cards and sang a song for them. |
